Synopsis

An assassin dons female clothing to infiltrate the palace and kill a feared dictator, only to be caught the very first night. Instead of death, the dictator spares him and insists on his company at bedtime, treating him like a living lullaby. While remaining under the dictator’s protection, the assassin uncovers a vast political conspiracy and begins to see a different side of the man he was sent to kill. Duty gives way to sympathy as forbidden feelings take root amid intrigue and danger.
